What kind of future do you see for yourself, specifically for yourself, at the age of 60? On the other hand, everyone has various goals for their later years of retirement.

Some plan to spend their senior years playing with their grandchildren, producing homemade jam in the countryside, and getting away from the craziness of the city. Others yearn to go places and do things they couldn’t do while they were younger and working.

Charlie Womble and Jackie McGee are not just charming couples but also excellent dancers. In South Carolina, they are renowned for their amazing talents, particularly in dancing “The Shag.”

This kind of dancing has a long history among South Carolinians. Partner dances like the Shag are commonly performed to the localized rock, R&B, and pop, known as Carolina beach music from the 1950s and 1960s.

Charlie claimed that one of the reasons he likes to dance is the way she changes partners during the performance, like an accordion. The video below features the dynamic couple showcasing their skills and talent at the ShagAtlanta 2013 ACSC Summer Workshop.

They appear to be dancing effortlessly because of how smoothly and precisely they move. It makes sense why they have already received many accolades and prizes, including being inducted into the Hall of Fame.
