2019 saw the family of schoolboy Romeo Cox relocate from London to Palermo, Italy. Romeo, who is only 11 years old, has accomplished a voyage that many individuals, even those who are 30 years old, cannot.

According to the Daily Mail, the young child and his father Phil decided against traveling to beautiful Tuvalu and instead chose to see his grandmother Rosemary in London, who is 77 years old.

And this is the sole similarity between his tale and “Little Red Riding Hood” because the student reached his objective through a route that was far more challenging.

Both people elected to take a lengthy trek through Italy, Switzerland, and France rather than use practical or widely available transportation.

Romeo and Phil started their campaign on June 20, but it did not naturally transition into a detective story as is sometimes the case. They arrived at their destination, Great Britain, on September 21 after only 93 days of travel.

The boy claimed that they experienced nearly everything that actual travelers would have.

Two traveled their route on foot, occasionally on bicycles, and occasionally on boats on the water. The family frequently had to sleep outside, in hostels, and in churches.

We wandered off multiple times. Our legs were covered in blood from sleeping under an aspen nest, which was a poor decision, but the young Cox stated, “We never even considered giving up.

In addition to these challenges, the family also had to battle a pack of dogs in Rome and successfully tame a wild donkey.

Romeo and Phil eventually arrived in London at Trafalgar Square in mid-September after traveling 2,800 kilometers, where they were greeted by former neighbors and friends.

I kept picturing my grandmother and how thrilled I was to see her as we drew near, Romeo said. It’s been more than a year since I last saw her, so I can’t wait to give her a hug. She was isolated and by herself.

But before they can see their cousin, the father and son must first spend two weeks in quarantine as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak.

Yet, the most crucial step has already been accomplished; they arrived in London and gathered memories that they are likely to treasure for a long time.
