Prince William and Princess Kate may not be on the same page when it comes to an important upcoming decision about their eldest son, Prince George.
The 11-year-old has already begun exploring secondary school options, having toured several prestigious institutions across London. Recently, he and Princess Kate visited her alma mater, Marlborough College, located in Wiltshire.
George also visited Eton College, a school with deep royal roots — both William and his brother, Prince Harry, attended. The school remains a favorite among the British elite, though it comes with a hefty price tag of around $82,000 per year.
According to sources, this choice has become a significant topic of conversation among parents and staff. One insider described it as a “real dilemma” for the royal couple.
While Prince William reportedly supports Eton as the ideal path forward, Princess Kate is said to be open to alternatives.
George has also toured other top schools in North London, including Highgate School — which is known for its exceptional theater department.
However, its distance from the family’s Windsor home could be a concern.
At present, Prince George attends the same prep school as his siblings, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, but a final decision about his next academic chapter has yet to be announced.
