George Clooney stunned fans with a claim many find hard to believe: after ten years of marriage, he and his wife Amal have never had a single argument.
During a new interview on “CBS Mornings” with Gayle King, the 63-year-old actor doubled down on a statement he originally made two years ago, calling communication in their relationship “effortless.”
“We said we’d never argued before — and we still haven’t,” Clooney told King. “Honestly, we’re still trying to find something worth fighting over.”
The Oscar-winning actor gushed about Amal, a renowned human rights lawyer, saying he feels like he “hit the jackpot” with her. “There’s not a day that goes by where I don’t feel like the luckiest man alive,” he said.
The couple, who wed in a lavish Venice ceremony in 2014, have since welcomed twins, Ella and Alexander, whom Clooney described as “curious and funny.”
Amal, 47, once admitted that their seemingly perfect relationship can be frustrating to their friends. “My cousin always asks if we’ve argued yet — before even saying hello,” she shared during a previous appearance on the show.
She attributes their harmony to luck and a conscious effort to stay open and unguarded with each other. Clooney has long praised his wife, even joking in a past interview that he “married up” — and still feels that way.
Their rare bond continues to turn heads in Hollywood — and beyond.
