You Won’t Believe What Tom Cruise Ate Before Risking His Life in the Air!

Tom Cruise has revealed his secret to powering through the intense and dangerous stunts in the upcoming *Mission: Impossible — The Final Reckoning*: a massive breakfast.

At 62, the action star still performs many of his own jaw-dropping stunts — including wing-walking on a 1940s biplane flying at over 120 miles per hour.

In a recent interview with *People*, Cruise explained that preparation for such high-energy sequences begins with fueling up properly.

“I actually eat a massive breakfast,” he said, listing off items like sausage, nearly a dozen eggs, bacon, toast, coffee, and plenty of fluids. “It’s cold up there, we’re at high altitude, and my body is burning a lot.”

The stunt — which sees his character Ethan Hunt climbing atop a plane mid-air while soaring above South Africa’s Drakensberg Mountains — was something Cruise dreamed of doing since childhood.

Inspired by old footage of early wing-walkers, he pushed the limits by attempting the feat at far higher speeds.

Director Christopher McQuarrie emphasized Cruise’s hands-on approach, calling him “a one-man film crew” who acts, flies, and even operates the camera.

Stunt coordinator Wade Eastwood confirmed the authenticity of the shots, saying not a single frame was done on a green screen — everything was filmed in the sky.

Cruise even showed the footage to his late mother before she passed. Her reaction? Pure relief that he didn’t tell her about the stunt in advance. “Oh, honey, I’m so glad you didn’t fill me in beforehand,” she told him.
