Rock legend Ozzy Osbourne has made an emotional promise to fans as he prepares for one final live appearance with Black Sabbath in July 2025.
Despite years of serious health issues—including a spinal injury, multiple surgeries, and a Parkinson’s diagnosis—the 76-year-old singer is training hard to make the concert happen.
Set to take place in Birmingham’s Villa Park, the reunion will mark the first time in two decades that the original Black Sabbath lineup — Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, Bill Ward, and Ozzy — performs together.
With support from bands like Metallica and Tool, the show is shaping up to be a heavy metal milestone.
Ozzy, who now uses a cane and faces challenges with walking and blood pressure, is undergoing intense physical and vocal training.
He’s been working with a personal trainer and a vocal coach to prepare, although he admitted he may be seated during the performance.
He stressed that fans should expect only a short set, not a full concert, from him and Sabbath: “It’ll be a few songs—just a taste,” he said.
Acknowledging that this will likely be his last time on stage, Ozzy said he now values time with his family and wants to focus on being a grandfather, adding, “I don’t want to die in a hotel room—I want to be with my family.”
