Hannah Brown is opening up about her health journey. The 30-year-old reality star shared on the “Heal Squad” podcast that she has been diagnosed with a double uterus, a condition present at birth in some women.
According to the Mayo Clinic, the uterus starts as two small tubes in a female fetus, which typically join to form one larger organ. However, in some women, these tubes don’t fully merge, resulting in a double uterus.
The clinic also mentioned that women with this condition can still have successful pregnancies.
Brown explained that she wasn’t aware of her condition until recently, and while she hasn’t had exploratory surgery yet, there may be risks when she’s ready to have children.
“It’s a whole thing,” she said, adding that the two parts of her uterus might not be the same size or capable of carrying a baby.
Though the diagnosis was a surprise, Brown is not stressing about it at the moment, as she has other things going on. She’s focused on getting married this year and plans to address her health further afterward.
Brown also reflected on her dreams of having children, saying she’s undecided but acknowledges that she’ll likely want to experience motherhood at some point.
Hannah Brown became known for her appearance on “The Bachelor” Season 23, and later as “The Bachelorette” Season 15. After breaking off an engagement, she found love with Adam Woolard in 2021, and the couple got engaged in 2023.
