Indian billionaire heiress Isha Ambani made a dazzling return to the Met Gala, turning heads with a spectacular diamond necklace from her family’s vault.
Her stunning jewelry choice quickly sparked online chatter, with fans noting its uncanny resemblance to the iconic Cartier Toussaint necklace featured in the movie *Ocean’s 8*, worn by Anne Hathaway’s character during a fictional Met Gala heist.

At the event, Ambani revealed in a video by jewelry content creator Julia Chafe that she wore several heirlooms passed down from her mother, Nita Ambani.
While she kept details vague about the necklace’s origin, its layered diamond design instantly reminded many of the elaborate Cartier piece inspired by a 1931 creation for the Maharaja of Nawanagar.
That original necklace, boasting a 136.25-carat “Queen of Holland” diamond, was dismantled in 1960. A replica used in *Ocean’s 8* now resides in London’s Victoria & Albert Museum.
Ambani’s fashion choices also impressed.

She wore a bespoke ensemble by acclaimed Indian designer Anamika Khanna, featuring tailored pants, a hand-embroidered top, and a detailed waistcoat jacket with a flowing train — all designed to reflect the 2025 Met Gala’s theme, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.”
Though it remains unconfirmed whether her necklace is a Cartier recreation or an original design, one thing is clear — Isha Ambani’s appearance combined luxury heritage with cinematic flair, securing her spot as one of the night’s standout style icons.
