Just months after finalizing his divorce from Jennifer Lopez, Ben Affleck is making headlines again—this time for professing his admiration for Latinas.

The 52-year-old actor was spotted leaving Lavo in West Hollywood when a TMZ paparazzo asked him in Spanish how it felt to be “Hollywood’s most eligible bachelor.”

Affleck replied with a confident “Muy bien” (very good). When asked if he still liked Latinas, he didn’t hesitate: “Of course I do.”

Affleck and Lopez, who is Puerto Rican, ended their marriage in January 2025 after tying the knot in 2022. Despite the split, Affleck continues to share a strong bond with Lopez’s twins, Max and Emme, from her previous marriage to Marc Anthony.

The actor, who speaks fluent Spanish after learning the language as a teenager filming in Mexico, has also spoken highly of Lopez post-divorce, calling her a “tremendous person of a lot of integrity.”

The couple’s rekindled romance began in 2021, nearly two decades after they initially called off their engagement due to intense media pressure. Their second chance at love was brief but meaningful, as they blended their families and maintained a strong co-parenting dynamic even after separating.

Affleck, who shares three children with ex-wife Jennifer Garner, brought Lopez’s kids to his recent film premiere and praised Lopez publicly, saying she remains “spectacular” and “great to my kids.”

Though no longer married, Affleck’s admiration for Latinas—and for Lopez—clearly hasn’t faded.
