Tyler Henry, the 29-year-old celebrity medium known from *Hollywood Medium*, revealed he recently underwent brain surgery after doctors discovered a colloid tumor near the center of his brain.

Sharing the news via Instagram on May 14, Henry posted a photo from the hospital and assured fans the operation was successful. “Great prognosis,” he wrote. “I feel so thankful to be surrounded by my family.”

This is not Henry’s first experience with brain surgery.

He had a similar procedure at 18 after an MRI uncovered a congenital cyst that led to an emergency operation. Reflecting on that event, he once said it gave him a deep understanding of life’s fragility and even speculated the condition might be connected to his psychic abilities.

Henry, who recently married his longtime partner Clint Godwin on May 7 in Beverly Hills, said he’ll be on bed rest for a month but plans to resume his readings once fully recovered. “I’ll see ya’ll very soon with lots of thought-provoking subjects,” he told his 1.2 million followers.

Aside from his popular TV shows and Netflix series, Henry has worked with celebrities such as the Kardashians, Megan Fox, and Chad Michael Murray. His most recent health scare came just days after his wedding, but he remains optimistic and grateful for the support he’s received.

“Life with you is an endless sleepover with my best friend,” he wrote to Godwin. “Best premonition ever.”
