Sarah Ferguson Hears Something Strange Every Morning—and She Thinks It’s Queen Elizabeth…

Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, made headlines after claiming she feels the late Queen Elizabeth communicates with her through her beloved corgis, Muick and Sandy.

Speaking at the Creative Women Platform Forum in London, the 65-year-old shared that the Queen’s dogs, now in her care, often bark in a way that makes her believe the monarch is speaking to her.

Sarah and her ex-husband, Prince Andrew, continue to live together at Royal Lodge in Windsor, and inherited the Queen’s dogs after her passing in 2022 at age 96.

During the conference, Ferguson described her morning interactions with the dogs, saying, “They go, ‘Woof, woof,’ and I’m sure it’s her talking to me,” which drew laughter from the audience. However, the mood turned reflective as she spoke warmly about her former mother-in-law, calling it “an honor” to have been her daughter-in-law.

Queen Elizabeth’s affection for corgis was well known—she owned over 30 during her lifetime. Muick and Sandy, gifted by Andrew and Sarah in 2021, were her final canine companions. Sarah previously said the dogs’ unexplained barking often makes her feel the Queen’s presence.

Now a devoted dog mom to seven pups, Ferguson shared a heartfelt Instagram tribute for International Pet Day, crediting her dogs with bringing comfort and joy—especially during her recent health battles.

She was diagnosed with breast cancer in mid-2023 and later with malignant melanoma in early 2024. Thankfully, her daughters, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, revealed in May 2024 that she’s now “all clear.”
