Former President Donald Trump recently reignited controversy with a jab at pop star Taylor Swift, claiming on his social media platform Truth Social that she is “no longer hot.”
This follows Trump’s ongoing criticism of Swift, which originally intensified after she publicly opposed the use of AI-generated fake images of her in political ads supporting his campaign.

Trump’s remarks also come after Swift’s endorsement of Vice President Kamala Harris during a debate, which Trump clearly disapproved of.
At a recent White House press briefing, Fox News correspondent Peter Doocy asked Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt to clarify Trump’s comment. Leavitt explained that Trump’s statement was about Swift’s political views and suggested these views may have affected public support for her work.
Taylor Swift has been politically outspoken since 2018, when she broke her silence with a strong Instagram post expressing support for LGBTQ rights and condemning systemic racism.
She also criticized then-Senate candidate Marsha Blackburn for her voting record on women’s rights and LGBTQ issues. Swift urged her fans to be politically informed and vote for candidates who align with their values.

Since then, Swift has continued to advocate for civic engagement and voter participation, especially among young people. While she hasn’t yet responded to Trump’s latest comment, given her history of standing firm on her beliefs, a reply could be expected.
