On Wednesday, Tom Brady made a momentous announcement by announcing his retirement from football.

Brady has gathered a vast array of experiences during the course of his sporting career. Following his major reveal, he posted a ton of pictures from his life throughout the years on Instagram Stories. One particularly touching moment showed him making amends with his ex, Bridget Moynahan, and their son, John.

The 15-year-old son and his father were standing side by side, and the boy resembled his father in each and every way, including the way he trimmed his hair, which was messy. All three of them grinned for the camera as the family portrait was being taken.

In the image, Bridget was dressed casually with her top tucked into her trousers, and John was holding both of his parents in his arms.

Tom talked about several more family occasions, one of which was a snapshot of their special Christmas. The photograph showed all three of Tom’s kids smiling in front of a Christmas tree.

Tom and Bridget had a relationship between 2004 and 2006. In 2006, while Bridget was carrying their kid, the couple split up.

The National Football League player would later wed Brazilian model Gisele Bundchen, but their romance ended the year before as a direct result of Tom’s decision to pick up football again.

“I love my family very much. All of my other players are wonderful. I adore both of my coaches and my friends. I am a great football enthusiast. I adore each of you. On this particular day, I’m so incredibly grateful.

The supermodel voiced her support for her ex-husband despite the fact that they had recently finalized their divorce by posting in a comment that she hoped “this new chapter of your life is filled with only beautiful things.”
