Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom started dating in 2016. The first time we saw the actor and singer together was at the Golden Globes after-party, where he began to flirt with the singer.
They were then captured on camera by paparazzi at occasions including concerts, festivals, and joint holidays. But, in the spring of 2017, the stars abruptly split apart.
After giving each other another chance, Katy and Orlando got engaged a year later.
Currently, their connection is characterized by familial love. And the celebrities became parents at the conclusion of the 2020 summer. Daisy Dove was the name they gave to their daughter.
How did they manage to overcome every obstacle and start a family? In the Chelsea Handler podcast, Katie discussed this.
“When we broke up, I experienced the worst year of my life, which was caused by both the breakup and the fact that I had undergone significant personal transformation.
My entire worldview abruptly shifted. But it was a chance for me to advance and expand,” said Katy.
The pair now sees a psychologist as well.
“Family therapy is something Orlando and I do, and we enjoy it because it works. We need to be able to go back to our regular lives, where we have a child and a family, even though we are frequently in the public eye.
We must learn to behave a little differently in our local world than in the larger one. Together, we’ve had wonderful success in therapy,” the singer continued.
