One of the most well-known young performers of the 1990s, Macaulay Culkin shot to stardom in the box office smash Home Alone in 1990.

He took a break from acting in his teen years before returning in his early 20s to act sporadically and explore other artistic endeavors.

It might be difficult to believe, but the first “Home Alone” movie, in which the witty and savvy Kevin fought off cunning intruders on his alone, was released 31 years ago.

Culkin began performing at age four. His early roles included those in the New York Philharmonic’s theatrical version of Bach Babies.

Throughout the 1980s, he continued to play characters on stage, in films, and on television.

You all probably recall the uproar that pictures of a man who appeared in the well-known Christmas films “Home Alone” and “Home Alone 2” provoked when they surfaced online. This renewed interest in Macaulay Culkin.

Culkin’s fame and money led him down a path of partying, causing him to lose some of his youthful appeal.

Yet, he has made a complete 180 degree flip and, on his 41st birthday, appears even younger than his actual age.

Most importantly, he still exhibits his distinctive sense of humor.
