He Ignored Neck Pain — Now This Actor Might Never Walk Again… Do You Recognize Him?

Nick Moran, known for his role in the *Harry Potter* films, was recently hospitalized in serious condition after suffering a life-threatening spinal cord injury.

His friend, Terry Stone, revealed that Moran had been experiencing neck pain, which turned out to be spinal cord damage requiring immediate surgery.

Despite initially brushing it off, Moran eventually saw a doctor after encouragement from his girlfriend. He was sent straight to the emergency room, where doctors warned the situation was critical and operated urgently.

Before the procedure, they told him there was a chance he might lose the ability to walk or talk.

During the complex surgery, four of Moran’s neck bones were removed and replaced with artificial ones due to the high risk posed by the surrounding nerves.

Stone shared that Moran is now recovering but still has a long road ahead. Though his mobility is limited and he’s wearing a neck brace, he is able to speak, which is seen as a promising sign.

Moran’s representative confirmed the actor is recovering at home and progressing well following the operation.

In addition to his role in *Harry Potter*, Moran is also known for starring in the 1998 film *Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels*.
