Dwayne Johnson Breaks Silence on Skipping WrestleMania and Fans Are Shocked by His Reason…

After fans were left wondering why Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson didn’t appear at this year’s WrestleMania, the actor and former wrestling superstar set the record straight during an interview on *The Pat McAfee Show*.

The 52-year-old explained that although he had discussions with WWE organizers, he felt it wasn’t the right moment to step in.

Johnson shared that while he could’ve played a part in the main event finish, he didn’t want to take away from the spotlight on John Cena, who made history by claiming his 17th WWE world title.

“They know when I show up, it’s for a reason,” Johnson said, adding that other projects and commitments made it important to not rush the storyline. “Why be part of the ending when all eyes should be on John and that incredible achievement?”

Johnson also praised rapper Travis Scott’s surprise appearance at WrestleMania, calling it a powerful moment that brought extra energy to the show.

As for the future? Johnson hinted that his storyline as the “Final Boss” may pick up again later, but for now, it’s not the right time.

Despite sitting this one out, he said he loved how everything came together and called it a great WrestleMania.
