Prince Louis is officially 7, and the Prince and Princess of Wales marked the special occasion with a charming new photo and video of their youngest son.

Shared on April 23, the photo shows Louis beaming outdoors in a cozy sweater and jeans, his gap-toothed grin on full display. Captured by photographer Josh Shinner, the portrait was captioned: “Wishing Prince Louis a very Happy 7th Birthday! 🎂”

In a rare behind-the-scenes clip, Louis is seen laughing and jumping around during the shoot, showcasing his lively personality.

Born in April 2018, Louis is the youngest of William and Kate’s three children, following big siblings Prince George, 11, and Princess Charlotte, 9. He is currently fourth in line to the British throne.

The birthday post follows a touching moment from earlier this year when Louis picked up the camera to snap a heartfelt portrait of Princess Kate for World Cancer Day. The candid photo of Kate in the woods, arms open wide, was captioned with an uplifting message about healing beyond illness.

The Wales family, who spent Easter privately in Norfolk, skipped the traditional royal Easter service this year.
