Meghan Markle is stepping into a new chapter—and she says it’s her happiest yet.
At the TIME100 Summit in New York City on April 23, the Duchess of Sussex stunned the audience with a heartfelt revelation while speaking about her new podcast Confessions of a Female Founder and her growing business ventures.
When asked to make a confession live on stage, Meghan didn’t hold back.
“I’m the happiest I’ve ever been,” she shared with a smile. “Of everything I’ve gone through, I never thought this would be the moment I’d feel such peace and gratitude.”
Now living in California with Prince Harry and their two children, Meghan is reclaiming her voice and diving back into her passions.
After a dramatic exit from royal duties in 2020 and years of scrutiny from the media, she’s finding freedom through creative work. Her lifestyle brand As Ever and upcoming Netflix series With Love mark her return to the pre-royal hustle she once thrived in.
The former Suits star also shut down critics questioning her decision not to film the show at home, citing her desire to keep her kids’ space sacred.
“I need to work, and I love to work,” she told The New York Times earlier this month, adding that this new path allows her to blend motherhood and meaningful projects.
From surviving palace life to building her own empire—Meghan is rewriting her story on her terms.
