Reese Witherspoon recently shared a heartwarming moment with her son, Tennessee James Toth, celebrating his joyful, curious, and hilarious personality.
The actress, 49, posted a fun video on Instagram and TikTok on May 7, where she followed a popular trend by listing the many nicknames people call her — from “R Dubs” among friends to “Ladybug” from her mom.

Her youngest son, however, has a more unusual name for her: “Morty” — a nickname she admits she doesn’t fully understand.
Reese shares Tennessee, who turned 12 last September, with her former husband, Jim Toth. She posted a sweet birthday tribute to her son, expressing how grateful she is for the happiness and laughter he brings into her life.
His older siblings, Ava (25) and Deacon (21), whom Witherspoon shares with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe, also honored their little brother with their own birthday messages on social media.
Although Witherspoon and Toth officially separated in 2023 — announcing their split just before their 12th anniversary and finalizing it that August — they remain committed to co-parenting Tennessee.

A source close to the family shared that their top priority has always been his well-being, especially following the family’s move from Los Angeles to Nashville.
Despite the changes, Witherspoon and Toth have maintained a drama-free, amicable relationship for their son’s sake.
