A$AP Rocky recently hinted at the name of his and Rihanna’s third child, confirming during his guest appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers that the name will start with the letter “R.”

The rapper, 36, shared this playful tease just days after Rihanna revealed her baby bump at the 2025 Met Gala.

Seth Meyers pointed out the couple’s naming trend — both their sons, RZA and Riot, as well as Rocky (Rakim Mayers) and Rihanna, have “R” names — and asked if the third child would follow suit. Rocky confirmed with a simple, “For sure.”

The couple, who have been together since 2019, are already parents to RZA, who turns 3 this month, and Riot, who is 1.

Interestingly, Rocky’s lawyer Joe Tacopina joked earlier this year that the couple had promised to name their next baby “A$AP Joe” after he helped the rapper win a high-profile trial in which Rocky was found not guilty of assault with a semiautomatic weapon.

Rocky expressed how meaningful it was to finally share their pregnancy news at the Met Gala, saying, “We were tired of holding that in… I’m glad everybody’s happy for us.”

Meanwhile, Rihanna, 37, told Entertainment Tonight that she’s feeling surprisingly well during her third pregnancy and is excited, albeit tired.

When asked if this new chapter will delay her long-anticipated ninth album, she reassured fans by saying, “Maybe a couple videos… but I can sing.”
