Right After Prince Harry’s Shocking Words, King Charles Unveils Bold Travel Plan…

King Charles and Queen Camilla have confirmed an official state visit to Canada next week, marking the monarch’s first North American trip since taking the throne.

While Canada shares a continent with Prince Harry’s California home, no plans for a reunion between father and son appear to be in place.

The announcement follows Prince Harry’s emotional BBC interview earlier this month, where he expressed his pain over the strained family relationship and claimed King Charles “won’t speak” to him.

The palace has remained silent on the remarks, but the lack of a scheduled meeting suggests tensions remain high.

Charles, 76, and Camilla, 77, will travel to Ottawa on May 26. During their visit, they are expected to meet with Governor General Mary Simon and Prime Minister Mark Carney.

The queen is also set to be sworn into the Canadian Privy Council, adding significance to the trip.

Though this is Charles’ first visit to Canada as king, it will be his 20th time in the country. His last trip was in 2022 for the late Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee. Camilla has visited five times.

Their tour comes shortly after Prince Harry lost his appeal for taxpayer-funded security in the UK. In his interview, the Duke of Sussex voiced a desire for reconciliation, acknowledging his father’s cancer diagnosis and stating, “Life is precious… it would be nice to reconcile.”

However, for now, the royal divide shows no signs of healing during the king’s Canadian visit.
