Meghan Markle Reveals the Details About Heartbreaking 2020 Miscarriage in Emotional Moment…

Meghan Markle discussed the miscarriage she experienced in 2020 on her new podcast.

The Duchess of Sussex, 43, brought up her loss after guest Reshma Saujani talked about the challenges of running her nonprofit, Girls Who Code, which promotes women in tech.

Meghan asked Saujani if she was comfortable discussing her own miscarriages during a time when she was facing personal and professional challenges.

Meghan shared her own experience, explaining how the loss made her learn to let go of something she had hoped and planned for, yet could not hold onto.

Saujani, 49, responded by calling Meghan’s reflection insightful, noting it resonated with her in a new way. Meghan had first opened up about her miscarriage in a heartfelt essay published in the New York Times in November 2020.

She described how she felt sharp cramps while holding her son Archie, and hours later, found herself in a hospital bed with Prince Harry by her side.

Markle later added that despite the pain of the loss, she treasures motherhood and expressed her deep love for being a mom.
