Tracee Ellis Ross is opening up about love, dating, and why younger men have her attention.

In a recent appearance on Michelle Obama’s “IMO” podcast, the 52-year-old *Black-ish* star shared that she’s drawn to younger partners because many men her age carry outdated views on relationships rooted in toxic masculinity.

Ross revealed that while she has dated men her age, she’s no longer willing to tolerate dynamics where she feels controlled or treated as a possession.

Instead, she finds younger men bring a refreshing openness she rarely sees in older partners.

“I’m not here to raise anyone or fix them,” Ross said, explaining that she values emotional maturity over age.

Despite not being married or having children, she shared that she’s built a fulfilling life, even while grieving the dreams that didn’t materialize.

“I won’t settle for the wrong person just to avoid being alone,” she said. “I wake up every day trying to live with purpose.”

The Golden Globe winner emphasized that her life is full — with or without a romantic partner — and she’s proud of everything she’s built independently.
