In a rare interview with *Curbed*, Timothée Chalamet’s mom, Nicole Flender, opened up about her son’s relationship with Kylie Jenner — and she’s clearly a fan.

“I have to say, she’s lovely,” Flender said, noting that the Kylie Cosmetics mogul has been “very nice” to her.

Flender, a New York City real estate agent, also recalled the moment she learned Chalamet had purchased a $11 million home in Beverly Hills, close to Jenner’s.

“Did he ask for my advice? No,” she joked. “He just said, ‘Guess what? I bought a house.’”

Despite both her kids — Timothée and actress Pauline Chalamet — living far from NYC, Flender says she has no plans to relocate. “Would you want your mom trailing you everywhere?” she laughed. “I like visiting.”

Flender joined her son and Jenner at the 2025 Oscars, where Timothée was nominated for Best Actor. When the big moment came, Jenner sweetly gave up her seat so Chalamet could sit beside his mom.

The couple, who began dating in 2023, have kept their relationship mostly low-key. Jenner missed the SAG Awards after the death of a close friend, and Flender filled in as Timmy’s date.
