Bill Gates’ Daughter Outsmarts Tom Brady at Blackjack—You Won’t Believe How She Did It!

Phoebe Gates, daughter of Bill Gates and Melinda French Gates, shared a surprising story on the April 30 episode of the *Call Her Daddy* podcast, revealing how she once beat NFL legend Tom Brady at blackjack during a celebrity charity event.

Describing herself as a “loser,” Phoebe said she memorized statistical strategies beforehand to improve her odds. Somehow, she found herself at the same table as Brady—and won.

Her close friend and podcast co-host, Sophia Kianni, was also at the event and recalled an embarrassing moment when she fell down a spiral staircase and was helped up by Jay-Z.

Despite her own chaos, Kianni said everyone’s attention was on Phoebe, who had the crowd watching as she beat the football icon. “Everyone’s like, ‘Who is that girl?’” she said.

Phoebe joked that she told people she was an IMG model, making up a glamorous backstory on the spot. She later ran into Brady again, who remembered her simply as “the blackjack girl,” not by name, but by the stats she had scribbled on her hand.

Phoebe, 22, also mentioned she co-founded *Phia*, a sustainable fashion brand, with Kianni. While talking about her boyfriend—Arthur Donald, Paul McCartney’s grandson—she admitted she isn’t much of a music fan.

“My family is super nerdy,” she said, explaining that she grew up more into tech than tunes.

Her quirky confidence, strategic thinking, and memorable win over Brady have clearly left an impression.
